The Gallery - Back To School

I hated school, I mean really hated it with a passion. If I could get away without going I would and to be honest all I had to say to my Mother is I didn't want to go in and I didn't have to. I was bullied at school, I had every school girls nightmare, I was overweight, had frizzy hair, severe acne, glasses and braces, the bullies had a field day with me. How I walked away with any GCSE's was a miracle but I did, I got 5 C's, 3 B's and 2 D's.

I haven't go many pictures of me at school, my step-dad wouldn't buy the ones of me he always complained my tie was too short or I had too much make up on. The only one I have is the group on taken in my last year at school.

You can find me 2nd from the right, 3 rows up (you can see all that hair)

I played around with 6th and college but left with only an AS Level.

When I was 21 I went back to school (see what I did there), I did an access course and then a degree. As I mentioned earlier I got 2 D's in my GCSE's, one of those was Maths. I'm not that bad at maths but I'm awful at maths exams. It took me 5 attempts to get a C, you have never seen someone so happy to get a C in her life.

My other D was in Business Studies, I subject I later got an AS Level in and then a degree in (well Business and Law if you really want to know)

So this is my proudest back to school picture, me graduating at the grand age of 26.

Don't forget to check out the other Gallery Pictures on Wednesday.

  10. What a fabulous picture and excellent story. It's tough to look back on your school years, those that say it's the best years of your life have no idea what they are talking about. You should be so proud of everything you have achieved. xx
